These lactation boosting energy bites are a favourite snack of ours and everyone who tries them loves them. They’re great for boosting your milk supply, but they’re also a great snack regardless if you’re breastfeeding or not.

These energy bites are the perfect snack whether you're looking for something healthy, want to boost your milk supply, or both!

The oats, seeds, and brewers yeast all help build your supply. I would notice a difference between days that I snacked on them throughout the day compared to days I didn’t have any so if you’re looking to boost your supply make sure you always pack some in a baggy when you’re going out for the day!

Since I’ve stopped breastfeeding I’ve actually adapted this recipe as a snack for Logan. I omit the brewer’s yeast, and I use 1/2 cup peanut butter and 1/2 cup almond butter. That way he is able to get a bit of extra calcium from the almond butter. I do half and half because almond butter alone makes them a bit too soft, plus it’s a lot pricier than peanut butter.

These lactation boosting energy bites are seriously so good! I always make sure to prepare a double batch because we go through them so quickly. They’re also super easy to make. The hardest part is rolling them into balls, sometimes it can take a while so turn on your favourite show and turn it into some me time <3

If you’re worried about all of the energy bites sticking together you can layer parchment paper in between the layers of your container. Although, I’ve never had an issue as long as I don’t pack the container too full.
