Smoothies are a great way to get a lot of nutrition in at one sitting, but they don’t have to be all fruits and veggies (not that there’s anything wrong with that!), they can be super tasty sweet treats too! This Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth whether you want a tasty way to start your day or a healthy replacement for your late night sweet treat binge (I can be so guilty of giving in to that late night sweet tooth!).
This smoothie recipe isn’t all chocolate and peanut butter though. It’s filled with spinach, banana, and pineapple which give you a boost of iron, folate, potassium, magnesium, Vitamin B6, B12, A & K, and is great for immune support, digestion support and decreasing inflammation.
What are you waiting for? Blend this bad boy up and top with bananas and chocolate chips! If you don’t have chocolate protein powder no worries! You can easily swap for 1 tbsp of cacoa powder. To make a morning smoothie bowl try adding some extra ice to thicken and additional toppings like coconut chips, nuts and chia seeds. Yum!
